We present our Bonzi Award to those who go above and beyond in helping the animals of Madison County and in helping the HSMC.
Donna SmithA longtime volunteer and supporter of the Humane Society. Donna helps with fundraisers, has fostered cats, and has been a tireless supporter. |
George PeytonA longtime supporter and current Board Treasurer with the Humane Society. He has transported numerous dogs to rescues and forever homes in many states and up into Canada. One special trip was to New York City where one of our dogs stepped into a new home across from Central Park as well as the transport of dogs to Minnesota. George’s company White Tiger Graphics also donates graphic design and print items to the HSMC. This website is just one example. |
Dr. Susan Borders DVMA Madison County resident. She practices veterinary medicine on the west side of Columbus at the Norton Road Vet Clinic. She has graciously donated medications and provided some needed surgeries for some of our residents. |
Dr. Devon Horne DVMOne of our shelter primary veterinarians. She is always available to the shelter director and staff as evidenced by a recent phone call she took during her trip in Mexico. Her interest in shelter medicine and persistence in difficult cases have made her a valuable asset to the Humane Society. She practices at VCA Westerville with an emphasis on soft tissue surgeries. |
Dr. Joe Bando DVMA veterinarian with VCA Sawmill. He also serves as one of our shelter vets who is always available for consultation or to provide needed assistance, particularly in the area of orthopedics. His expertise has helped us keep our animals as healthy as possible. |
