2007 BONZI AWARD RECIPIENTS

We present our Bonzi Award to those who go above and beyond in helping the animals of Madison County and in helping the HSMC.

Marjorie Hopkins A longtime volunteer and supporter of the Humane Society. She has fostered numerous cats and kittens over the years. She also puts her creative talents to use making quilts and other items for auctions and sales.

Ron Smith Former Board President, Ron is a tireless volunteer. He heads up the regular bake sales in West Jefferson. He is always there to help pick up donations or help in any way. Often when he sees something the Humane Society needs, he will get it donated or donate it himself.

Dr. Tami Shearer DVM A prominent Columbus area veterinarian with expertise in canine rehabilitation and hospice care. Her practice merged this past year with VCA Sawmill. She generously donated much needed supplies and equipment to assist in the care of our animals.

We greatly appreciate the time and energy of our award winners. Their love of animals show no bounds. Congratulations.
